Grumpy and Happy Villa is in Belize, Central America, Town of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. Right next to the Caribbean Sea. Renting from us means more room and more comfort. A quiet environment where the loudest sound you hear is from birds in the green belt next to you. Lots of Birds and iguanas right in the yard. The economy of renting this house is even more attractive. You get more for less. Children 12 years of age and younger are welcome and stay FREE We have some sleeping facilities for toddlers and younger.

This large Family Oriented Vacation Rental Home is a special place. This is a home away from home (not a resort) Located in Belize, on the Island if Ambergris Caye and in the town of San Pedro, Central America, next to the Caribbean Sea.

The Villa is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood and within a few minutes walk from the beachfront, grocery stores and restaurants. Town is 1.4 miles from the villa. It's about a 15 minute walk on the beach front.

Once you go through the photo galleries, floor plans ,videos, satellite images and the location you will be able to book with total confidence. Several of our past guests have offered to be used as references (ask). Please read the 'Cudos' pages from the guest books that we keep up to date and the About Us page to learn a little about us.

This is large pool, 10 foot deep and totally private to the villa, It has a 10 foot privacy fence. This has made the day for many guests. Swimming from the beaches in many areas is inhibited by the sea grasses that support the reef system

Looking to get certified. Please look at our E-LEARNING page . Do all your PADI class up to and including the exam. Then come to the villa and complete the Pool session at your Villa and then the open water dives on the Barrier reef. Jolene and I are certified Master Scuba Diver Trainers with PADI ( Professional Association of Diving Instructors, the largest dive training organization in the world)

The house is divided into 3 spacious units, which we call Villas. Each Villa has it's own private entrance. Floor plans are to scale showing the location of beds, furniture and facilities.

Cable TV in living room and all 3 bedrooms. Master bedroom has a Queen bed with ensuite. 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and 3rd bedroom has 2 double beds. Queen size futon in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge and stove. Washer and dryer. Central Air and telephone. Large screened porch Video Available on request.
Villa-3 (1 bedroom) Photo Gallery - Floor Plan -Rates - Guest Book 700 sq ft. sleeps 4, Bachelor style 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. Open concept living/kitchen area. Bedroom has two twin beds and a queen futon in the living room. Kitchenette has a full size fridge (no oven) but has a 2 element electric stove top, toaster oven, & microwave. Air Conditioner and telephone. Screened in private porch.

We (Lorne & Jolene) are the owners and check you in personally. We are licensed Tour Operators and can arrange your activities or tours in small groups with great private guides we have formed relationships with over the years. None of our guests have ever had a complaint with tours that we arrange. Look at the activities menu for the selection of tours that are available.
We are available at any time during your stay if you need anything, have any problem or are seeking advice. Comfortable surroundings, personal care, quiet neighborhood, beautiful grounds and large living spaces make this a treasure for your holiday and the economical pricing makes it affordable.
We are Canadians that moved to Belize 9 years ago and made it our home. Last year we were honored to become Belizean Citizens.

Our 26' Boat "Grumpy&Happy" has a special ladder for easy access in and out of the water and a bimini to shade you. We welcome the young, elderly and those with special needs. There's lots to do here, please look at ACTIVITES on the menu bar. A pier is close where you can shore fish or be picked up and dropped off for tours and Blue Hole or local diving adventures. The beach next to the pier is one of the best in San Pedro.

San Pedro Town center is only a short drive by the most popular means of transportation, golf cart! We can arrange to have one delivered to your door. On week nights the Front Street (pictured above and to the right) is closed to vehicular traffic after 6pm. Locals and tourists find this a great time to meet each other.
